The past week I’ve been working on getting the HUD just right, from information to usability. While there’s still some work in the graphics department, it’s already pretty good in terms of aesthetics. A symbol to indicate whether or not a dash is available has also been added to make it more clear.
Some under the hood changes have also been done to ensure that a very thing works as expected. Previously most of the managers were a mess, giving access to everything and holding objects from all sorts of stuff. This causes issues especially when changing levels (data isn’t retained across sessions) but also when two scripts access and modify values at the same time. However, this has now been streamlined and centralized. Some optimization is still needed but the main things are done and ready for the change to multiple, different levels. Retaining upgrades is nice as well.
